Please note that vendors may change the used chipset in new versions without changing the product name.
To find out about the vendor and product ID of your device, log into your QNAP (via ssh/ telnet), plug in the device and issue the command 'lsusb'.

NTFS preformatted by WD, have syncronized 950GB. It took nearly six days, but the HDD didn't drop off like all the other models before... After the initial syncronization all later syncs were quite fast.
