QPKG is QNAP's system for packaging software so that it can be easily installed on QNAP NAS devices.

The name may be a tribute to the Optware IPKG system, which fills a similar role but across many NAS platforms.

The Turbo NAS User Manual (version 3.1.1, July 2009), section 3.5.8 QPKG Plugins, explains briefly how to use QPKG.
