This is a report on how it is possible to build and install the Zarafa software (free version) from source code on a QNAP TS-239 Pro-II.
 
The Zarafa server is a groupware providing mail/contacts/calendar services. With Z-Push one can even add push synchronization for mobile devices. Note: QNAP is not yet a supported platform by Zarafa. Try it at your own risk.
