Introduction to Community Packages
QNAP has a community of developers who package and support packages for QNAP devices. There are two methods for installing packages. You can add what is call a repository, or list of packages, which allows you to use a GUI to automatically install and update packages. You can also manually install individual packages.
Adding Repository to QNAP App Center
- Click on App Center on Main Destop.
- Click on the Setting icon in the upper right hand corner.
- Click the Add link.
- Enter the Name and URL for the Repository.
Note: The name is not critical. It is just helps you keep track of the repositories.
